Who we are
Lake property care, done right
FLX Cottage Care was built for one reason: lake home and cottage owners deserve a service partner they can trust completely — someone who knows the property, shows up reliably, and handles everything so you can simply enjoy your time on the water.
Our story
Born from a love of the Finger Lakes
We grew up around these lakes. We know what a hard Upstate winter does to a dock, what spring opening really involves, and what it means to hand over the keys to your family's cottage and trust someone else to care for it.
FLX Cottage Care was founded to fill a real gap: reliable, detail-oriented property care for lake homes, cottages, and camps — the kind of service that treats your property like it's our own.
We're not a franchise. We're not a call center. We're a local team that knows these lakes, these roads, and these properties — and we're here season after season.
How we work
01
Reliability
We show up when we say we will. Every visit is documented and reported back to you, so you always know the state of your property.
02
Attention to detail
Lake properties have unique needs. We know the difference between a cosmetic issue and something that needs immediate attention — and we act accordingly.
03
Honest pricing
Peace of mind at a reasonable price isn't just a tagline. We price our services fairly and communicate clearly before any work begins.
04
Partnership
We work alongside property managers, real estate agents, and owners — not around them. Your goals are our goals.
Part of a trusted family
A sister company of Upstate NY Tree
FLX Cottage Care is proud to be a sister company of Upstate NY Tree, one of the region's most respected tree care and arborist services. That relationship means our clients have access to professional tree services — removal, trimming, storm damage response — through a team that already knows the Finger Lakes landscape.
